Wuhan Kernel Bio-tech Co., Ltd., which was founded in May 1999, is a high-tech enterprise, specializing in researching, producing and selling Bio-pesticides, Bio-fertilizers and bio feed additives.
In 2011, Kernel joined Grandpharma (China) Co., Ltd. which is listed in Hongkong stock market (China Grand Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Holdings Limited)
In Aug 2017, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., one of the world's top 500 companies, became a shareholder of Kernel.
In 2019, Kernel planned to build a new factory with an area of 200.37 mu in Hubei Xiantao New Material Industrial Park. The first phase investment was RMB 235.89 million, which had been put into operation in December 2020.
