mRNA vaccine giant BioNTech releases clinical data of CAR-T+mRNA vaccine in the treatment of solid tumors

On April 10, 2022, BioNTech announced the Phase 1/2 of its CAR-T + CARVac combination in the treatment of Claudin6 (CLDN6) positive solid tumors (testicular cancer, ovarian cancer, etc.) at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 2022 Annual Meeting Preliminary clinical data show good safety and encouraging preliminary therapeutic effects. It is reported that this is also the first human trial to improve the expansion and persistence of CAR-T cells through mRNA vaccines.
